“ Wow, visited Copenhagen Pastry for the first time last weekend and we can't believe we've been missing it! We can't wait to return to try everything in that case as well as the cakes! My favorite was The Copenhagen- not too sweet and very custardy! We also tried the Princess Cake (my husband's favorite), the Walnut Cake (my favorite), and a couple of others that I can't quite remember the names of. The shop itself is cute and bright inside and the worker helped answer a lot of our questions. A must try, especially if you're in the mood to try new things! ”
“ There is meter parking outside. I came on a Sunday so street parking was free. There is a small parking lot but I chose the streets for easy access and exit. The store front and store is very clean and organized well. There are no tables and chairs to sit inside, you place your order and take your baked goods to go. They have coffee and it is delicious. I am not even sure what coffee it is but it reminds me of the blonde coffee I drink but maybe more smooth or less preservatives. I first came in 2017, and I was happy to be back here again. Please listen to the song I am parodying https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7l7W8IBQSY While you are reading my review. “ The customer service is nice and fast. They have the best pastries. I personally love their Chocolate Walnut cake. It is amazing ”
“ My dad and I got so many pastries to try because they all looked so good. Wow, we were so amazed with each pastry. The texture, flavor, sweetness of each pastry was to perfection! Can't believe we're finding about this place just now, but grateful to have found this gem! The owner and worker are sooo friendly and sweet. The space was super clean and everything was well organized. Will be coming back again~ ”
“ Visited Copenhagen Pastry several times based on a review from Yeep extraordinaire Karen W of Phoenix AZ. It's a small bakery on a main drag of Washington Blvd, there are 3 parking stalls with an additional stall for handicapped, plus street parking. I've only gone on weekends and holidays, so I'm sure it gets busier, but usually its more of a quick and out. Today there were 3 people waiting on customers which helped. The Kringles (or Danishes) here are great! Not too sweet, light, flakey, and full of flavor! Love that the rum ball tasted of rum, the Napoleon's hat had a good amount of chocolate to it! Most recent discovery has been their breakfast rolls, they remind me of German brotchen, with a crunchy crust and a soft interior. Love CP and will make a stop when I'm in the area! Repeat and recommend! ”
“ Came by for cake! We had a princess cake slice at a different bakery and was a little disappointed with the amount of cream so we wanted to go to a place that does it well! We ordered the princess cake and a bunch of other pastries. The cake slices are pre-boxed and have padding to keep them from falling over! And yes the princess cake slice was quite moist, with firm yet pliable marzipan coat and flavorful raspberry jam and plenty of cream! We parked on the street (read the signs). They do have a lot but be sure you're in the right one. No indoor eating area but we sat on the lonely bench outside to eat our cake and pastries. ”
“ Copenhagen Pastry What I ordered: -Princess Cake Slice $6.50 -Copenhagen $3.25 -Kringle $3.25 -Napoleon Hat $3.65 -Spandauer $3.25 I came in with high expectations. The Princess Cake slice was very sweet and I like sweet things, but I felt like it was too sweet. The Napoleon Hat was different than any other cookie I've hat before. The almond paste is not overly nutty and still maintains a very sweet flavor. It tasted like an Almond Joy in the cookie form. The Copenhagen is very good. It's sweet, but not overly sweet. It's a pretty good pastry. I would order it again. Kringle is the most recognizable Danish pastry. It has the custard and almond paste with nuts and sugar coating the top of the pastry. I like this one as well. Spandauer is more flaky than the other pastry. It has more of that croissant texture along with the custard and almond paste. I would say it was my favorite Danish pastry. Here's my rankings of the pastries 1. Spandauer 2. Kringle 3. Copenhagen 4. Napoleon's Hat 5. Princess Cake Closed Monday and Tuesday ”
“ Located in a beautiful small standalone building in Culver City, this small Danish bakery has a great variety of different pastries. But I believe they are most known for their princess cake. At least that's how they came up on my radar. I've been here a few times now and the people here are always friendly. When I first came to this bakery, I was really curious to try princess cake because I've never had it before. I should note that I am not a big fan of marzipan. But I think this cake might have converted me here. If nothing else, it made me at least enjoy it. The presentation, flavor, and texture - I would say that this is a really good representation of Princess cake, despite my limited experience, haha. The other pastries are very good as well. But I've definitely come back a few times to grab the cake for friends on special occasions. The parking in the back is a little tough to get to because it is narrow driveways and it could get congested. If you're lucky, you could get parking on the street close by but just know that this is a high traffic area so it's a little intimidating to try to parallel park sometimes. ”
“ LA's best pastry shop. Prices are so reasonable-- everything is around 3-4 dollars. All the pastries have a simplistic taste that is amazing for the morning or with coffee. Their princess cake is a MUST TRY. It's light, fluffy, and not too sweet. Layers of raspberry jam, custard, and cake with whipped cream on top all coated in fondant. A cake lovers dream. Quick service and neat packaging. Small interior with no seating -- it's not that kind of bakery. More of a grab and go. ”
